A neuropsychologist is a psychologist who receives advanced training in brain-behavior relationships during their doctoral and postdoctoral training.

Dr. Morrison's practice sits at the intersection of clinical assessment, educational support, and professional consultation for families, individuals, clinicians, and organizations.

The connecting thread of the practice is our mission toward "practical psychology," an approach to mental health that takes serious neuroanatomy and translates its findings to fit all audiences.

Much of our work involves working with people who grew up in a generation where "neurodivergence" wasn't clearly understood or accepted by the world of science or society. Our practical approach strives to be the first step along the journey to helping individuals reclaim their identity, gain comprehensive diagnostic insights, and receive real-world recommendations.

Approach

  • Evidence-based, individualized

Standardized measures and structured methods, interpreted in the context of one person's history.

  • Systems-level thinking

Cognition, mood, environment, and development are read together — never in isolation.

  • Translatable

Reports and recommendations written to be used by patients, families, schools, and treating providers.

  • Calm and unhurried

Assessment is a collaborative process, not a verdict.
